Judith Bromley DL (Chairman)
I have been an enthusiastic and passionate supporter of the Hospice since 1998 when I started as a ward volunteer in the evenings after work progressing to becoming a member of the Board of Trustees in 2007 and was appointed as Chairman in 2014.
I work as a solicitor in a large local firm in the town, being qualified now for just over 30 years and I am an accredited solicitor specialising in the provision of law for the elderly and infirm often working alongside the Hospice with my clients .
Despite still working full time I do have the dedication and energy to support my role within the Hospice due to the flexibility of my business partners and feel that my business skills and contacts are an asset to the role I play here within the organisation.
I was born and educated here in Bolton and despite leaving for four years whilst I studied for my law degree in Leeds, I have lived in the town my whole life and I am a passionate believer in the strengths this town has to offer, not least the support and affection the people have for the Hospice.
I enjoy supporting the fundraising team in any activity they plan to raise the awareness of the good work we do and the safe haven we provide for those people approaching the end of their lives.
I am also a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester serving the Bolton area and I proudly promote the Hospice and all we do at every opportunity available to me in this role.
I am immensely proud to be associated with the Hospice in this way and hope that I can continue to be an ambassador for all the work the Hospice does in the future.
