Care and Support
If you, or someone close to you, have a progressive life-limiting illness, you may have questions about what care is available. You can explore the range of services Bolton Hospice offers to patients, carers and family members by clicking the links below.
Care at the Hospice
Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care within the hospice itself.
Families and carers
Carers come in many guises and can be wives, husbands, daughters, sons, parents, friends or neighbours.
24 hour advice
Bolton Hospice offers 24 hour advice for patients, carers and healthcare professionals on palliative care issues.
Care at Home
Many people with terminal and life-limiting illnesses prefer to be cared for at home surrounded by their family and friends.
There are two Palliative Care Social Workers based at Bolton Hospice who are employed by Bolton Council.
We are committed to supporting family and friends throughout their contact with the hospice.
