Outpatient Clinics

Outpatients attend by appointment to see either the hospice consultant or another member of the hospice team.

Attending an outpatient clinic is usually the first opportunity for patients to get to know the hospice, and for the nursing team to get to know the patient.

Can patients be accompanied?

Yes, family members or friends who are close to the patient are very welcome to come along with patients to the clinic. It can be useful for the doctors and nurses to be aware of carers' concerns.

Services for outpatients:

The main reason for an outpatient visit is to see the hospice consultant. We can, however, also provide other services according to your needs.
