Donations in Lieu of Gifts

We are extremely grateful for the generous donations we receive in lieu of gifts for special occasions. Birthdays, weddings, wedding anniversaries and even retirement parties often attract large numbers of sometimes unnecessary gifts.

What better way to make a real difference to local people living with life-limiting illnesses than by asking your friends and family to make a donation to Bolton Hospice in lieu of giving you a gift.

We have special ‘Donation in lieu of gifts’ envelopes that can be circulated with an invitation to your special party or celebration or distributed at the event itself. We can also provide balloons, pin badges and other merchandise for your special celebration.
