Fundraising Groups
Bolton Hospice relies on the goodwill and generosity of our local communities who not only donate to help us financially, but who also dedicate their time, skills and passion as volunteers.
It is this perfect mix of Hospice volunteers, fundraisers and supporters in our communities which mean we are able to maintain and build on the services we offer. That is why , as we move into our 20th Anniversary year, we are looking to form Friends of Bolton Hospice.
What are Friends of Bolton Hospice?
Friends of Bolton Hospice are fundraising groups who meet on a voluntary basis in order to help raise funds and awareness in support of Bolton Hospice. What your group decides to do to raise funds is up to you; hosting dinner parties, sports tournaments or craft sales and raffles only scratches the surface of what you can do!
Who can set up a Friends of Bolton Hospice group?
Anyone can set up a group; you can invite friends, neighbours, colleagues or strangers who care as much about Bolton Hospice as you do to join and help raise funds for the Hospice.
Whether your group is made up of people who share a common interest, for example cookery, sports or music or whether you would like to set up a Friends of Bolton Hospice group in your neighbourhood – we would love to hear from you.
What support will we get from Bolton Hospice?
The fundraising team at Bolton Hospice will be here to advise and support you and your group at every step of the way.
Whether you already have a group and would like help finalising your fundraising plans, or whether you’re new to it completely we will ensure that your group gets going in no time!
