The symptoms patients may face towards the end of life can be varied and complex. This short course aims to provide an introduction to the topic.

Course topics

  • Gain an enhanced understanding of symptom management for patients approaching the end of life
  • Recognise the common symptoms experienced by end of life care patients
  • Discuss how these symptoms can be managed effectively in a  pharmacological and non-pharmacological manner
  • Explore a holistic approach to symptom control
