Bolton Hospice invites you to support our Light up a Life appeal by dedicating a light in memory of a loved one. The festive season can be a busy and exciting time, but it’s also when our thoughts turn to those special people who won’t be there to join the celebrations this year. You can remember someone special and dedicate a light in their memory in a number of ways:
Dedicate a light
Dedicate a light in memory of a loved one and make a donation of your choice. Their light will shine on our Christmas trees at our remembrance services in December, and their name will be added to our Book of Remembrance at the hospice.
Each dedication will be acknowledged with a commemorative card bearing the name of the person to whom the light is dedicated. This card is yours to keep or pass on to friends and family if you wish.
Join us at a Light up a Life Service
Our remembrance services in December are open to everyone who has dedicated a light and donated to the appeal. This will be an opportunity to come together to remember and reflect on loved ones who are no longer with us.
This year our services will be held on:
- Wednesday 6th December at Bolton Parish Church at 7pm
- Wednesday 13th December at Bolton Hospice at 6.30pm
Remember at home
If you are unable to attend one of the services or just prefer to remember at home, you can still dedicate a light to your loved one. If you would like to receive your commemorative card and for your loved one’s name to be placed in the Book of Remembrance, simply make a donation and let us know the names of those who are special to you.
To join the appeal, and dedicate a light to someone special please donate now. Alternatively, for more information please contact Mark on 01204 663065.
