Fancy a challenge for 2009? Tour De Mont Blanc Trek
Bolton Hospice is keen to get a group together to take on a challenge to remember forever. If you are fit and healthy and enjoy serious hill climbing then this is the challenge for you. Adults over the age of 18 are welcome together with 16 year olds accompanied by a participating adult. Each participant will be required to raise a minimum of £1500 in sponsorship which will cover the cost of the trip (excluding insurance, visa, excess luggage, personal expenses and gratuities) and will also include a substantial donation to the Hospice. The spectacular circuit around Mont Blanc is one of the world’s classic hikes. From the massif of Mont Blanc seven valleys extend into France, Italy and Switzerland. Our challenge will include a hike up to the ridges and then a descent into the valleys below with time to enjoy views of glaciers, peaks and meadows.
