Hair and Image Service
This service is part of the overall hospice service which works to help improve a person’s sense of well being.
The service is offered to all of our patients and carers following a discussion and assessment. It is free of charge but a donation towards our service is always appreciated.
What do we offer?
Haircuts for both ladies and gentlemen
Hair tints
Manicure
Facials
An understanding of hair which has been affected by medical treatments
Advice on coping with hair loss
Wig and scarf advice
Scalp care
Our hairdresser may also offer patients an Indian head massage which may help to soothe away the stresses of the day.
Facilities include:
A unisex salon to attend
A mobile hair service for our in patients
When are we available?
Our opening times are 9.00am-1.00pm Tuesday to Friday
An appointment system is in operation
