Fund the Care of a
Patient for a Day

As fundraisers we are often asked where funds are most urgently needed.  The fantastic people of Bolton are always keen to help Bolton Hospice maintain its excellent standards of care for local people in need of specialist palliative care. 

There is, of course, a constant requirement to meet ongoing running costs and it is our aim to achieve this through every aspect of our fundraising calendar.  We do, however, have very specific targets in any one day, the most important of which is to give the best possible care and attention to our patients.

We feel privileged to look after the local people of Bolton at a difficult time in their lives and to offer a fully holistic approach to their treatment.  Every patient is treated according to their very specific needs and all aspects of their well being are considered and attended to.  An individual will be offered all of the appropriate and specialist clinical treatment necessary, but will also be offered much more, for example complementary therapies, in order to offer an all round feeling of well being.  The patients’ spiritual needs are recognised and catered for in addition to their physical requirements.

Perhaps you would like to help fund that specific care for one day or for several days.  This is your opportunity to make a donation towards the cost of the care of a patient for a day or to make a bigger commitment and to organise a fundraising event to help cover the care of many of our patients.
