Dedicate a Light in Honour of your loved one & Join us as we Light up a Life
Every year hundreds of people dedicate a light to their loved ones on our Light up a Life trees and thousands of pounds are raised for Bolton Hospice so we can continue to provide expert care and support for local people when they need it the most.
When you dedicate a light to your loved one you’ll receive in their honour
- a commemorative card bearing their name
- a cut out heart to hang on your tree or special place
- their name in the hospice’s Book of Dedication, available for you to visit any time
Every donation we received for our Light up a Life appeal will help towards providing compassionate, dignified care for someone in Bolton, and their family.
Join us at a Light up a Life service
Our special services in December are a celebration of life, open to everyone who has dedicated a light and donated to the appeal. It will be an opportunity to come together with others who have experienced a death of a loved one and remember and celebrate their life.
The services will include choirs, carols, readings and a moment of silence as we reflect at this special time and you’ll see your loved ones’ lights shining in the trees in their honour.
