Light up a Life 2017
13 Dec, 2017 - 06:30pm
at
Bolton Hospice & Bolton Parish Church
Light up a Life is a lovely way to remember and celebrate the lives of those who won’t be here to share Christmas with us this year, but who remain in our thoughts and memories.
You can write a personal dedication message and upload your own image to our Light up a Life night sky. Then, their star will shine brightly in the sky, for the whole festive period.
Andrea is dedicating a light to her dad, Andy. Andy died, aged 72, from prostate cancer in 2014 after being cared for at Bolton Hospice.
"We took part in the Light up a Life service at the hospice the following December and found this very moving. It was a lovely service at a special time of year and the emotion felt when the candles were lit was palpable. I still light the candle at home every Christmas."
When you donate to the appeal, we’ll send you a commemorative card dedicated to your loved one and their name will be added to our Book of Remembrance here at the hospice.
Our remembrance services in December are open to everyone who
has dedicated a light and donated to the appeal. This will be an opportunity to
come together to remember and reflect on loved ones who are no longer with us.
This year our services will be held on:
Wednesday
6th December at Bolton Parish Church at 7pm
Wednesday 13th December at
Bolton Hospice at 6.30pm
Please join our appeal and light up the sky with memories of loved ones we'll miss this Christmas.
