Sarah Woodiwiss is being celebrated as one of our amazing female supporters this International Women's Day as she takes on the challenge of a lifetime in memory of her beloved father-in-law, Roy to raise money for Bolton Hospice...

"I am taking on the Chester Ultra Marathon this Saturday, 10th March in honour of my father-in-law, Roy Woodiwiss, who spent some time and sadly passed at Bolton Hospice just before Christmas 2017.

This is my first ever ultra-marathon and it is 53 miles in distance over just one day! I have asked for donations to be made to the hospice and this is my second challenge fundraising for them.

I just want to say many thanks again for the great care of my father in law and our family at this sad time. The real heroes are you guys who have supported our family twice and I will continue to have you as my chosen charity."

We wish Claire all the best on this huge challenge on Saturday and are extremely proud that she will be once again, wearing the Bolton Hospice rose.
