Remember a charity week

This week is Remember a Charity week a national campaign to encourage people to leave a gift to a charity in their Will.

Planning for what will happen after you die isn’t something many people want to talk about, but most of us would like the people, places and causes that are important to us to be looked after well into the future.

Of course you will want to take care of your loved ones first, but here at Bolton Hospice we are asking local people to consider making a lasting difference by remembering us in their will too. Just a small gift or percentage of your estate would make sure that the hospice and the specialist care we provide will be here for local people who need it well into the future.

How Gifts in Wills help the hospice

As part of this year's 'Remember a Charity week' we are very excited to announce that we will be opening our brand new Wellbeing Hub this Autumn.

The Wellbeing Hub will be a beautiful, calming space and alongside the current day therapy model will offer a flexible, drop-in service with access to new wellbeing and support sessions and specialist services so the hospice can help even more local people with life-limiting illnesses.

This redevelopment and improvement of our support services was only made possible due to restricted funds from a generous Gift in Will made to the hospice in 2019. Our new Wellbeing Hub will help patients and their families for years to come, making a lasting difference to our community.

Did you know that 1 in 5 of our patients here at the hospice is cared for by gifts in Wills?

All gifts generously left to Bolton Hospice in our supporters Wills mean the world to us and our patients, from a thoughtful gift of £350 which could pay for all our patient and family care and support services for an hour to a percentage of your estate - every gift is appreciated and makes a real difference to the lives of local people that need it most.
