Bolton Hospice has been made aware of a grossly offensive incident within the town. The hospice wishes to stress that the individual concerned is not connected in any way to or employed by the organisation, despite his claims to the contrary and we condemn his actions in the strongest possible way.

Bolton Hospice prides itself on its standing within our community and its excellent relationships with all, and thoughtless and potentially criminal action by any person will always result in our strongest response in order to protect Bolton’s collective pride

With that in mind, the hospice contacted the police and Facebook yesterday, along with many members of the public, and we are pleased that Greater Manchester Police was able to take swift action.

We will continue to work closely with Prevent and GMP where relevant and necessary.

Bolton Hospice will always remain a welcoming, loving and safe environment for people of all backgrounds, race, sexuality and religion and we thank our community for their ongoing support.
