Comedian announces four more shows in his home town early in the New Year to support Bolton Hospice after huge demand for tickets

Participants of all ages and abilities took on the 5k route around Queen's Park on Sunday, running through clouds of colour whilst raising funds for Bolton Hospice.

Bolton Hospice is urging local people to support its call for fairer, sustainable Government funding for hospice care.

Ladies Lunch is one of Bolton Hospice’s most popular annual events, and this year’s gathering once again demonstrated the incredible generosity and spirit of the local community.

Through a series of special initiatives throughout the week, Bolton Hospice spent Volunteers' Week honouring the incredible dedication and hard work of its volunteer team.

Bolton Hospice was filled with joy and the sound of clip-clopping hooves earlier this week as the team welcomed a very special visit from Simply Shetlands.

They were given bikes, did no real training, gave themselves just 24 hours for the mammoth task and began it straight after work.
