Sponsoring a Bolton Hospice Nurse
Published to Hospice Stories on Aug 24, 2020
Last week across our social media, we shared personal hospice stories from family members and the impact they have felt from the care, hope and support provided by our hospice nurses - and their thoughts on how sponsoring a nurse can make such a difference.
||Our frontline nurses are an incredible team, using their expert knowledge of pain management and symptom control, their experience in supporting family members or simply providing a hand to hold - our nurses are there to provide care, hope and support to people just like Claire's family and her amazing Mum. Thank you to Claire for sharing her hospice story, it truly touched our hearts.
|Here is Maria's moving hospice story and why she has sponsored a nurse ever since we cared for her amazing Mum in 2017.
Our nursing team are here to care for the needs of our patients, and their loved ones too...just like Kellie and her family during her Dad John's time at Bolton Hospice in 2015
"I will be forever grateful to everyone at Bolton Hospice because they provided such wonderful care for my daddy John Arthur Hadfield who sadly died on 27/04/2015. But that’s not all they do, they also cared for me and my mum and provided hope and support when we needed it the most.
If you sponsor a nurse, it will help other families who need vital care and support during really difficult times."
There are more people than ever in need of our specialist care, and we need your help to grow and maintain a team of nurses with the specialist skills and compassion that hospice care needs.
You can sponsor a nurse today from just £3 a month, and help us to provide care, hope and support for the local people who need it most - just like Claire, Maria and Kellie's loved ones.
