Coronavirus - Shops Update

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis and in response to government guidance, the decision has been made to close all of our charity shops across Bolton as of 4pm on Monday 23rd March.

Following government advice on social distancing and for the safety and wellbeing of our supporters, staff and the people of Bolton, we will no longer be accepting donations to our charity shops, or organising and carrying out collections of donations from people’s homes. We would also like to urge donors not to leave donations outside of our closed shops.

Our charity shops and café are at the heart of the Bolton community and we know that they play a huge part in combating social isolation and loneliness amongst our volunteers and regular customers. We rely on the support of our amazing volunteer workforce, many of whom are currently self-isolating following government guidance. This is a difficult time for all in our community, and we hope that by taking these actions in response to the Coronavirus situation and following government advice we can keep our volunteers, our supporters and our staff safe - at this time and for the future.

The following shops are now closed:

  • Furniture Plus
  • Astley Bridge
  • Tonge Moor Road
  • Chorley Old Road
  • Little Lever
  • Knowsley Street (Town Centre)
  • Bury Road
  • Horwich
  • Westhoughton
  • Farnworth

Thank you for your understanding and support during this unprecedented situation.
