£50 Challenge - halfway update

As we hit the halfway mark of this year's £50 Challenge, let's check in with what our teams are up to, and the ingenious ways of fundraising they've come up with! *Spoiler*, we think an all you can eat pasty competition might be a first for the £50 Challenge!

Harrisons

The team at Harrisons took part in a sponsored walk and summited Scafell Pike on Saturday 13th May

Val Hulme

Val is keeping her fingers crossed for nice weather on 25th June, when she's hosting a garden party. It sounds like it's going to be popular; all of her tickets sold out within 48 hours and there's now a waiting list to attend!

Crystal Cremations

The team over at Crystal Cremations are putting the fun in fundraising and organising a sponsored Pub Crawl

Slimming World

Slimming World Bolton held a weekend fundraising event, and have also launched a huge prize raffle

Stateside Foods

Stateside have combined their fundraising efforts with helping the environment, taking part in a sponsored litter-pick. They've also hosted a raffle, and are planning on organising a bake sale, bucket collection, and even a 5 a side tournament!

Carrs

The team at Carrs Pasties have already organised a successful raffle

T4 Physio

T4 Physio staff members completed a sponsored Spring walk last month, and will also shortly be holding a bake sale

Northern Monkey

The team over at Northern Monkey have held one charity pool tournament and are planning to host another before the challenge comes to an end. They're also hosting an all you can eat pasty competition on Sunday 11th June, which sounds delicious but certainly not for the fainthearted!
