Meet John Hall, Spiritual Care & Bereavement Support Lead
“I’m John and I’m the Spiritual Care & Bereavement Support Lead at the hospice, and I’ve been here for about 6 and a half years now.
“I’d describe my role as also including lots of emotional support. That’s a really vital way of supporting patients and families through a difficult time, and what that looks like really depends on what matters most to them at the time.

Coronavirus Visitor Update
Patients are now able to have all family and friends visit the Hospice, with a maximum of two visitor’s onsite at a time. Due to Covid-19 we continue to maintain our infection prevention and control measures to ensure that our patients, staff and volunteers working within the Hospice are safe.

Tribute Night raises over £1700 for Bolton Hospice
A fantastic party night organised by tribute fund holder Dr Peter Green has raised an incredible £1765 for Bolton Hospice, in memory of Peter's wife Jackie Green.
Bolton Wanderers visit Bolton Hospice!
On Tuesday, in the week before Christmas, a ripple of excitement spread through the hospice as we were treated to a visit by Bolton Wanderers Official!
Patients and family members (and staff too, of course!) were very excited to meet some of the team. Rosie, Mark and Carol, who regularly attend our Wellbeing Hub, loved speaking to the players, and were grateful for their lovely gifts which were donated by the team.

Bolton Hospice supporter competes in Ironman UK in memory of mum
Matthew Pemrick is competing in Ironman UK this Sunday 3rd July 2022 to raise money for Bolton Hospice in memory of his mum.
