Patrick Lydon
Treasurer

I was brought up and educated in Bolton and have lived here for whole of my working life so far. I am married to Judith and we have four grown up children. It was my wife Judith, who was a volunteer on the fundraising committee, who first encouraged me to become a trustee for the hospice ten years ago now.

Professionally I was a Partner at Warings Chartered Accountants and had links even then with the hospice as one of my then Partners Peter Smith served as a Trustee and The Hospice’s Company Secretary for many years. When Warings merged with Cowgills three years ago I remained a Partner from which I have now retired instead having taken on the role of consultant.

In one way or another I have been involved with the charity sector for my whole career and Bolton Hospice being part of that is something I am proud to support. I will continue to work hard to ensure the financial stability of the hospice for now and for the future.
