Band 2 Clinical Support Nurse (IPU)


We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Support Nurses to work within the Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice.  This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to develop skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.

£18,005 - £19,337 per annum

(dependent upon experience, plus unsocial hours enhancements)

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

(part time considered, minimum 30 hours per week)

The role covers a 24 hour, 7 day service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty.  Long day shifts are available to staff on IPU.

The Role:

Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support and assist the qualified nursing staff in providing hands-on, person-centred care to patients with complex clinical needs.  This will include nursing assistance as well as clerical, cleaning and ancillary duties.  Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.

What you need:

To apply, you must have experience within a health care setting and hold NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Care.  We are looking for someone compassionate and caring, with excellent communication and team-working skills.  You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team.
