Finance Assistant

£18,576 - £19,918 per annum pro rata

Part Time (26hrs over 4 or 5 days per week)

The Role

This is a busy role which will support the Finance & Corporate Services Director in managing the financial operations of Bolton Hospice and its subsidiaries.  You will provide an accurate and timely financial processing service to the hospice, with responsibilities including purchase and sales ledger processing, expenses payment runs via BACS, bank reconciliations and ensuring that all information is accurate and readily available for statutory audits.

What you need:

We are looking for a highly organised Finance Assistant with good experience of working in a busy accounts office and experience of using accounting software, ideally SAGE. Knowledge of purchase and sales ledger is essential.  You must have excellent attention to detail and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.  The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly to meet deadlines and respond to unplanned situations.
