From 9am Sunday 1st March to 9pm Monday 2nd March, we’re launching our Making Every Moment Count Appeal – a 36-hour crowdfunding challenge to raise £60,000 for Bolton Hospice.
Here’s the exciting part: thanks to our generous Matchers, every single donation will be DOUBLED. That means your £10 becomes £20, your £50 becomes £100 – instantly making twice the difference for local patients and families.
How you can help
We’re looking for amazing supporters to join as Champions (supporters like you, who appreciate what we do).
As a Champion, you’ll get your own fundraising page and a personal link which we will create for you to share with friends, family, and colleagues. All you need to do is send your link out to your contacts and watch the money roll in. It’s simple, fun, and you can do it all from your sofa!

Why it matters
Together, we can fund two hospice nurses for an entire year, ensuring patients and families get the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve. This appeal also marks a special moment – Bolton Hospice’s birthday on 3rd March. What better gift than helping us make every moment count?

The crowdfunding page will be created by the company Charity Extra who will set up your unique fundraising page and get you ready for the campaign. You’ll receive your page link by text and email from Charity Extra one week before we kick off on 1st March 2026.
How we care
We care for patients throughout their illness, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. We also provide compassionate, dedicated and dignified care for patients at the end of their life.
Our place in Bolton's heart
We've been providing hospice care for Bolton since 1992. The need for hospice care in Bolton was first identified in 1984 and thanks to the unwavering, dedicated support of our community we've been able to care for thousands of local families when they needed us most.
It's an honour and a privilege to care for our community, and we are proud to be such an integral part of our town.
How you can help
We need to raise over £5 million every year to provide our specialist services free of charge. We’re an independent charity and government funding only covers a fraction of our costs.
