Schools Elf Run and Jolly Jumper Day
"Ho, Ho, Ho….
Season’s greetings from the North Pole!
Last year, my friends at Bolton Hospice asked for my help. Their Christmas wish was for every school across Bolton to take part in their Christmas campaign which aimed to raise enough money to pay for Christmas day at the hospice – a whopping £10,959!!!!!
Well I’m delighted to say that support from our magical school community was so astronomical that not only did they raise enough money for Christmas day, they helped pay for Christmas Eve and Boxing day too – a tinseltastic £36393.15!
With your help, we could reach this ambitious target again and provide a magical Christmas filled with hope and treasured memories for the patients at Bolton Hospice and their families this year.
Help spread Christmas cheer and organise your own Elf Run or Jolly Jumper day to help raise vital funds for the hospice."

What does it involve?
Elf Run – Choose a date and route of your own and gather your elves to sprinkle a little festive sparkle on a festive sponsored fun run. It could be within their P.E lessons, in designated areas on lunch, or even spread throughout the day to help with social distancing. We will provide each child with their very own elf hat and sponsor form, one lucky teacher will be provided with a Santa Suit to lead the route!
Jolly Jumper Day – Dig out your favourite festive knit, choose a date which best suits you and ask that all pupils and staff wear their Christmas Jumpers in return for a small donation to the hospice.
Collecting your Sponsorship/ Donations
You can collect your donations in cash on the day or you can set up your very own Just Giving page.
You can then share your Just Giving link to all parents for them to make their donation online. The Just Giving page will have a Santa tracker so you can see how close we are to reaching our target.
