Thank You to our Marathon Runners!
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in both the London and Manchester Marathons last weekend. We are very proud of everyone who laced up their running shoes and conquered the challenging 26.2 mile run. Collectively they have raised over £7,000 which will help people in the local community facing life-limiting illnesses access the care and support they need from us.
“We are so proud of Sophie Richardson, Sofia Piercy, Sophie Starczewski, Amy Timmins, Jonathan Lilliot and his two sons from completing the Manchester Marathon on Sunday,” said Emma Mitson, Fundraiser for Bolton Hospice. “Also, a huge congratulations to Ashleigh Conroy, who completed the London Marathon in memory of her grandma, who was cared for by us and father and son Latif & Mohammed Jiva who ran in support of the hospice. We are all so incredibly proud of all of them, congratulations on a fantastic achievement!”
Envious of those taking on such an iconic challenge as the London Marathon? We are excited to announce that we have a limited number of places available to supporters who would like to take on this famous marathon course in 2026! Every step you take and every mile you cover will be helping to raise vital funds for local people facing life-limiting illnesses.
