Intrum Finance team tackles Mount Snowdon challenge

On Thursday, May 22nd, three determined colleagues successfully summited Mount Snowdon, raising an impressive £1,100. Stephen Slee, Gareth Burke, and Mohamed Umarjee, all colleagues in the Quality Assurance team at Intrum Finance in Manchester, teamed up for the challenge, driven by a desire to support a vital local cause.

"Bolton Hospice provides essential care, comfort, and dignity to families in the local community facing life-limiting illnesses," explained Gareth. "They are dedicated to making a real difference, and we wanted to do our part to help them continue their crucial work. It was an unforgettable day, full of laughs and hard work. We're so happy to have done it in support of the amazing care Bolton Hospice provides."

The group were delighted to receive an additional £250 donation from their company, contributing to their fantastic fundraising total. "It was a fantastic gesture from Intrum and significantly increased the impact of our support," they commented.

Mohamed reflected on the experience, saying, “I used my volunteer day from Intrum to take on the challenge of climbing Snowdon—alongside my brilliant colleagues and climbing buddies, Gareth Burke and Stephen Slee, who also used their volunteer days to join the effort. Together, we tackled the mountain (with plenty of laughs along the way!) and raised funds for a cause that means a lot to us.
