Bolton based bus company Diamond Buses North West have partnered with us to give one member of their fleet a brand-new look.

The newly unveiled double decker has been covered in an assortment of our bright and lively imagery, with the aim of increasing awareness of our specialist services, fundraising initiatives, and volunteering opportunities.

Operating numerous franchises within Greater Manchester's Bee Network, Diamond Bus connects communities with an extensive array of routes that stretch across the region.

Speaking about their decision to support us, Diamond said, “This week we had the absolute pleasure of unveiling Bolton Hospice’s stunning new branded livery – and what an honour it was!

“At Diamond, we’re incredibly proud to support such an amazing charity. The care, compassion, and dedication that Bolton Hospice provides to our community truly resonates with our own values. We’re proud to stand beside everyone at Bolton Hospice and grateful for the incredible work they do.”

One side of the bus highlights the Wellbeing Hub – a flexible, drop-in support service for people living with life-limiting illnesses. Offering a variety of services and sessions, including outpatient clinics, support groups, creative workshops and special events, the hub welcomes referrals from point of diagnosis.

On the other sides of the bus you can find a selection of motifs inviting the community to support us in any of a number of ways, from fundraising or sponsoring a nurse, to making a donation or volunteering.

“We are incredibly grateful to Diamond for their generous support and commitment to raising the profile of Bolton Hospice in the local community.” Said Angela Griffiths, Fundraising Manager. “Everyone here at the hospice was delighted to see the bus unveiled, and to be some of the first people to board the newly decorated double decker. As well as working with us on this bus, Diamond had also recently supported our Bubble Rush event as our Silver Sponsor, further highlighting their commitment to supporting local people facing terminal and life-limiting illnesses.”

We are inviting the community to take part in their ‘Spot the Bus’ campaign, spreading even more awareness of the hospice’s vital services throughout Bolton.
