Sweet success at family bake sale!
Louise and family decided to hold a fundraiser as a little project to bring her family together and to raise vital funds. They set up their bake sale on their neighbours drive with perfect weather and perfect bakes they were ready to go. They decided to host their bake sale in memory of a few friends that have received the vital care we provide.
“The fundraising team at the hospice were so helpful, they helped us get everything we needed to make the bake sale succeed, including a card reader which really helped us raise even more vital funds,” said Louise. “We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, it was a lovely feel-good thing to do as a family!”

Louise had plenty of hands with the help of her children who helped baking and holding the stall throughout the day. They chose firm family favourites to bake including brownies, scones, lemon drizzle, coffee cupcakes and lots more. The bake sale was a huge success with the family having to close at lunch to make more bakes!
“Louise and her family did so well with their bake sale, it was a lovely way to bring her family together and the funds raised will go towards helping us care for people in the local community facing life limiting-illnesses.” Said Emma Mitson fundraiser for Bolton Hospice, “We even had someone emailing us asking if we could get Louise’ brownie recipe they loved it that much!”
