Christmas celebrations at The Wellbeing Hub

Patients, staff, and volunteers at our Wellbeing Hub celebrated Christmas earlier this week. The day was filled with festive cheer, heartwarming performances, and special guests.

The celebration kicked off with Christmas music and a lively quiz where patients competed for festive prizes. The atmosphere was joyful when pupils from St. Peter and St Pauls Primary School arrived to perform a selection of carols, bringing staff, volunteers, and patients together for a heartwarming sing-along session.

“It was a truly special day filled with laughter and community spirit,” said Lisa Ridgley a Wellbeing Hub Sister at Bolton Hospice “Seeing everyone come together reminds us what Christmas is all about. Our incredible staff and volunteers ensured every detail, from the food to the atmosphere, was perfect for our patients and their loved ones.”

The party also included two very special guests. Daisy the therapy dog who regularly visits arrived with a wagging tail full of excitement for everyone. Father Christmas made a grand entrance with gifts for the patients that were generously donated by local business Amscreen.
