Bolton Hospice Wellbeing Hub Extends Opening to Fridays


Bolton Hospice Wellbeing HubBolton Hospice is delighted to announce that its Wellbeing Hub will now open on Fridays, expanding its flexible, drop‑in support service for people living with life‑limiting illnesses across the Bolton area.

The Wellbeing Hub helps people to live well with life‑limiting illnesses by offering far more than medical care. The hub focuses on “finding skills for living well with your condition, choosing lifestyle activities that will spark new interests and developing supportive friendships.”

With the additional Friday opening, more people will be able to access the hub’s wide range of services, including specialist advice, symptom management, creative workshops, complementary therapies, support groups and social activities. Many visitors describe the hub as a lifeline, with one saying, “Coming to the hub is the highlight of my week.”

The service is open to anyone in the Bolton area with a progressive life‑limiting illness, such as advanced cancer, COPD or Motor Neurone Disease. People can self‑refer easily online or by calling the hospice team.
