Run, Forrest, run!
All of our 100k May participants are absolutely smashing their challenge of determination and endurance, not least Dan, who is definitely seeing the funny side of running every day for a month!
Dan has an extra special reason for taking on 100k May. His wife, Claire, worked at Bolton Hospice for 10 years, before being diagnosed with breast cancer. Claire was then cared for by her colleagues and friends here at the hospice.
Dan remembers "all of Claire's wonderful friends (I can't call them colleagues) picking my family up and just carrying us all. I'll never be able to put into words how hard that must have been for them all."

About us
Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home. We not only take care of patients' physical needs, we consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. And we support families and close friends, both during illness and in bereavement.
