Ramadan Appeal Raises Over £17,000

We are thrilled to announce that our annual Ramadan Appeal has raised an impressive £17,314.02, thanks to the incredible generosity and commitment of the local Muslim community. These vital funds will directly support families in Bolton facing life-limiting illnesses.

The significant total was achieved through a variety of initiatives and contributions from individuals, businesses, and Mosques. Notably, Latif Jiva and Mohammed Saif raised an astounding £4,120 through their demanding London Marathon and Ironman challenges.

Numerous Mosques also made substantial contributions, including:

  • Taiyabah Mosque: £1,086
  • Masjid Aleef: £555
  • Ashrafia Masjid: £564.81
  • Al Falah Masjid: £438.21
  • Masjid E Usman: £595
  • Masjid E Salaam: £604

Further support received during the holy month, MRH Solicitors also joined the patron family as an Emerald Patron.

Ramadan Appeal

Thank you to everyone who made it to our very first Eid Open Day, it was a resounding success. This included dedicated volunteers, companies that generously provided free food, and all the community members who attended to celebrate and participate in the activities.

"We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity shown by our Muslim community during this year's Ramadan Appeal," said Courtney Finch, Individual Giving Fundraiser at Bolton Hospice. "Every single pound raised will make a profound difference to local families needing our support. From the incredible efforts of Latif Jiva and Mohammed Saif, to the contributions from our local mosques and the success of our first Eid Open Day, the spirit of giving has been truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone involved!"

The funds raised will enable Bolton Hospice to continue providing essential, specialist services to patients and their families in Bolton.
