All of our shops are different, with lots of different volunteer roles available! Whether you have a flair for fashion and fancy yourself on the shop floor, or can see yourself helping behind the scenes as a volunteer van driver, PAT tester or eBay administrator, we can't wait to welcome you to our shops team.
We Urgently Need Volunteers for the following roles:
Reloved Bridal and Occasionwear Boutique, Market Place Shopping Centre - Retail Assistant
Various Days / Hours
You'll be helping customers find their perfect outfit, creating attractive displays and supporting the day-to-day running of the store. Learn news skills, build you cv and meet lots of new people! Astley Bridge Shop and The Old Bank Café - Retail & Café Assistants
Sunday volunteers needed
You'll be sorting stock, providing customer service and replenishing the shop floor as a retail assistant and at the cafe you'll be serving and preparing refreshments, operating the till and supporting shop operations. Great skills for your CV!
Ebay Volunteers
Various Days/Hours - Flexible
As an eBay volunteer, you'll help wrap sold items and package them up ready to ship to our customers!

Odd Jobs Volunteer
Ad-hoc basis
We're on the lookout for an odd jobs volunteer to help us on an ad-hoc basis. Mainly based at our Furniture Plus store, you'd be helping with occasional small handy jobs and assembling furniture. Register your interest or call our volunteering team on 01204 663 066 for an informal chat!
Newport Street - Retail Assistants
Various Days/Hours
As a retail assistant volunteer you’ll help run our Newport Street shop; sorting stock, replenishing the shop floor, marketing items and serving our loyal customers. No experience is necessary and training is provided!
Furniture Plus - Retail Assistants
Saturday and Sunday - AM or PM
As a Furniture Plus volunteer you'll be helping on the shop floor, meeting and greeting our customers, and marketing and selling donated items.

As a charity shop volunteer you’ll help run one of our charity shops; sorting stock, replenishing the shop floor and selling donated items to our loyal customers.
Furniture Plus volunteer
As a Furniture Plus volunteer you'll be helping on the shop floor, meeting and greeting our customers, and marketing and selling donated items.
Warehouse volunteer
Warehouse volunteers are vital to the smooth running of our Furniture Plus shop, helping behind the scenes to process and sort donated items.
PAT tester volunteer
Based at Furniture Plus, our volunteer PAT testers help to test every electrical item for safety and function before they're sold in one of our shops.
eBay volunteer
As an eBay volunteer you’ll support our online eBay shop by logging donations to be sold online, researching goods, adding listings, and assisting with postage once sold.
Van driver volunteer
Our volunteer van drivers and van drivers' mates collect donated items from across the borough of Bolton and deliver them back to our shops to be sold.
The Old Bank Cafe volunteer
At The Old Bank Cafe, volunteers will be serving customers, preparing food such as sandwiches, paninis and beverages and ensuring the cleanliness of the cafe.
