£214,000! That's how much you raised in just 36 hours for #MakingEveryMomentCount!

In an appeal all about doubled donations, it feels fitting that you have more than DOUBLED the original goal of £100,000, making more of a difference to local families than we could ever have imagined.

To every single person who donated, shared, and left powerful messages of support, from the bottom of our Bolton Hospice hearts - thank you.

The amazing amount was all down to YOU – the people and businesses of Bolton – responding to the Making Every Moment Count campaign which made every £1 donated of the match pot worth £2.

The 36-hour fundraiser over Sunday, March 1 and Monday, March 2 brought Champions, Matchers and our community together to raise vital funds for Bolton Hospice. 

Our original target of £100,000 was reached on Sunday morning within the first five hours of going live - a phenomenal response! 

The Bolton News supported the appeal with regular coverage and support. And, after Granada Reports featured the hospice, phones began ringing off the hook with the fundraising team taking calls right up until 9pm!

Every single donation, big or small, was a reminder that people care deeply about our hospice and what it means to patients and families in our community. That means everything, and the difference this will make to the care we can provide is immeasurable.
