Bolton Hospice welcomed an unusual visitor last week when a small cat was found breaking and entering the building on multiple occasions.

The furry fan was pictured on social media posing at the front doors, darting inside and calling to staff through windows. Just as staff thought he’d found somewhere else to inspect, he was found snuggled up in the family lounge having a cat nap!

Using social media a nurse managed to find out that the cat, 'Chompie', had been on the road since June.  She contacted his owner and the pair were happily reunited.  

Under a hospice video, followers suggested that it was combination of the hospice's food, staff and care that enticed Chompie - whatever it was that brought , we're glad we could help bring him home safely!
