Event organiser, Emma Mitson said: “I love the £50 Challenge! Businesses of all sizes get involved, use their imagination and raise vital funds in exciting ways that work for them. It’s also a great opportunity to network with other companies and build team relationships. This year has been the biggest yet, but we’re aiming even higher next year with some exciting updates up our sleeves. We can’t wait to see what wonderful ideas our teams come up with and to, hopefully, introduce some new businesses to the challenge!”
Awards were split into several categories, with winners including: Most raised – Harrisons won Estate Agents, Cosatto won Most Team Building, Mecca Bingo won Most Creative, Nat West Parklands won Sportiest, The University of Greater Manchester won Most Adventures
Harrisons Estate Agents won the ‘Most Raised’ category for the fourth year in a row, raising around £11,000.
Speaking for the Harrisons team, Katie Hibbert said: ''This has been our best year yet! We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a team and are so grateful for everyone who’s supported us along the way. The response from our clients and customers has been amazing, we can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity, encouragement and continued support. Knowing that the money we raise helps provide such important care and support to local people, and their families, makes all the hard work worthwhile. We’re incredibly proud to support such a fantastic local charity.''
