Complementary Therapist


At Bolton Hospice we offer a wide variety of Complementary Therapies that make a significant difference to patients, their families and carers. Team at Bolton Hospice is friendly, motivated and committed to providing a high quality, expert specialist palliative and end of life care to the people of Bolton.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Complementary Therapists to join us. The successful post holder will provide therapies within our Wellbeing Hub and on the IPU. We are looking for someone with a caring and compassionate nature, excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients, staff and supporters.

£13,574 - £13,787 (WTE £33,934 - £34,468 per annum)

15 hours a week

The Role

Working as part of the Therapist Team, you will provide hospice approved complementary therapy services to patients, families and their carers within the Hospice. Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service through a collaborative team approach.

What you need:

To be successful in this role you must have extensive experience in complementary therapy in a variety of settings; hold a recognised Diploma in Aromatherapy, Certificate in Body Massage, Diploma in Reflexology. It would be beneficial if you have experience of other therapies such as Reiki and Crystal Therapy or any other therapies which would be suitable at the hospice.

You will have a caring, empathetic and non-judgmental approach, be enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills whilst being creative with new ideas for improving our services.

Promote and maintain the philosophy of the hospice, and ensure standards are managed at all times.
