Every year, Bolton Hospice provides specialist palliative and end‑of‑life care to more than 700 local people - care delivered with dignity, compassion and expertise. But right now, that care is under threat.
Government funding covers only a fraction of what it costs to run our hospice. To keep our doors open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we must raise over £5.5 million of our £7 million annual running costs ourselves. After years of below‑inflation increases, rising costs and growing demand, the hospice sector is at breaking point.
